Mr. Hoffman is a long-time expert on online privacy and security issues and has testified before Congress. He joined Intel in 1998 as an eBusiness attorney and founded Intel's privacy team in 1999. A year later he was appointed group counsel of eBusiness and director of privacy. He later relocated to , executive director of the NCSA. "His diverse skill set and aptitude for international and worldwide privacy issues will further enhance our efforts to promote security and online safety for all global citizens. We welcome David to the board and look forward to working with him."
