Nicholas Gill, Nampa Christian High School
Nampa Christian High School junior Nicholas Gill was recently chosen to be a scholar at the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security in Washington, D.C., this fall. According to a letter from the National Youth Leadership Forum, this opportunity will recognize Gill along with others as one of the “nation’s most outstanding high school scholars.”
The time spent at Washington, D.C., will include a six-day forum during which Nicholas will have the opportunity to speak with some of the United States’ most distinguished leaders in the fields of national security and public service. Upon completion of the forum, he will be able to receive college credits through George Mason University along with a Certificate of Achievement officially commemorating his participation.
The Nampa Kiwanis Club is sponsoring Gill for his October trip.
Tell us about some of your recent achievements.
Starting varsity football my sophomore year, being on the honor roll my whole life, and being elected junior class president.
